I've been using this brake controller since August but recently switched to a permanent brake controller mounted in the vehicle, which is why I'm now selling this.

The handheld plugs into your 12V socket in your vehicle while the power module is permanently fixed on the tongue of the trailer. A wireless signal applies the trailer brakes proportionally based on input from the vehicle.

Install is incredibly simple: four self-tapping screws (included) into the trailer tongue frame, 7-pin harness connects to power module, power module 7-pin harness connects to receptacle on vehicle. Handheld plugs into 12V (cigarette outlet) in your vehicle whenever you want to use it.
