Does anyone out there have any experience with Taxa Outdoors trailers? I’m considering purchasing a Tiger Moth (https://taxaoutdoors.com/ultra-light-trailers/tigermoth-camper-trailer/). I know it’s not as heavy duty as some of the off road oriented offerings on the market, but appears to be a well engineered trailer, although pretty expensive, but everything up in Canada Land is.

A guy towed one from the lower 48 up to Deadhorse and about halfway back through Canada before the frame broke. I wouldn’t buy one if you intend to drive on rough roads for any extended period.

I have one and we absolutely love it! I’d love to talk to you about it in person but feel free to look through my camper build in my signature

Dude was a dingbat you’d have to know the whole story. Yes his frame broke and the camper was totaled but you would have to see how it was loaded and know the situation. Mine is pretty heavily modded and has been flawless both on and off road in some pretty rough stuff, not rock crawling or anything. He did show a weak spot in the frame which I will be boxing here shortly. Taxa makes a cool and unique product. No it’s not the heaviest built out there but pretty damn tough. He made some false statements about his camper which I addressed him about to have no response

If you look on the taxa tigermoth fb page there are a couple gently used ones being sold as some folks are up sizing to Crickets

You can ask @Wild Crow he has seen this little camper go through some stuff and I don’t even have the off road version, the suspension and camper are the same

Thank you for the feedback! Love your setup and what you do with the TM. Unfortunately, I have decided against this route and instead am going to buy a house this year. Will probably look at building my own trailer over the next year instead.
