I’m in the middle of a backup camera install on a 2003 double cab Tacoma. Anybody know what wire I should tap in for power? Looks like my options are green with a blue stripe or white with a black stripe.

Did you figure it out? I believe it should get connected to your reverse lights so when you shift to reverse the the power turns the camera on. Should be able to trace which ones go to the reverse bulb, yeah?

According to the diagram it's Black/Red going to the switch and Red/Black coming out.

White with black is Toyota for ground. If you have a multi meter you can easily confirm this with the Ohm setting.

Got through it. Green with blue was positive. White with black was ground.

I’m not sure where to mount this the camera though. For now it’s on the license plate, but I’d like move it below my trailer hitch some how.

Can you see your trailer hitch in the camera with it mounted on the license plate? I got one coming in too, hoping to use it to line the ball up more easily.

Top of license plate works well for aligning hitch and ball. You have to angle it down just a bit. It is still good for general backing too. My only complaint with the inexpensive cameras is that the wires for ground and power from reverse light is so microscopically thin!! Would love to find one with heavier wires.
