    What haven’t I changed?
I hate to be that guy but those are tamper resistant and not tamper proof. Anybody can walk into a hardware store and get the security bits needed to remove those screws. I have 2 sets on my desk as I'm typing this.

I did it for a member, he saw the ones I use for the Anti theft devise and wondered if I could get them for the taillights and thought I would share with the masses, sorry if you got offended by the wording of the screws, I'm simply calling it what the manufacturer calls them.
By the way, I took them out and put the factory bolts back in,

Chris was nice enough to help me find these. Why? Because I've caught a few shady characters creeping around my truck these past few months. (In my driveway.. freaking brave souls) I'm pretty sure its the same jackass's that have tried to syphon my gas tank. (I ended up buying a locking gas cap for that.) Also walked out of a store to find my tailgate randomly down a few times. (Bought Chris's ATD for that)

To put the cherry on top, Ive had my old truck broken into and taillights stolen off my 1st gen in broad day light. In a busy costco parking lot....

Honestly our taillights are sitting ducks... Two screws and they're off. A locking tailgate isnt the answer or theft proof either. Those can be pried off with a flat head screw driver and you can buy those at any hardware store I'm told.

So to sum it up, anyway to make it more difficult for a thief the better.
