Tailgate height from the ground when open on different models?

In looking at the current Tacoma models I notice the wheel options range from 16-18 inches.

Does this affect the tailgate height from the ground when it is open?

Carrying motorcycles is a major function of my truck, and loading them has been problematic at times.

Is there a height difference between the SR5 at 16" wheels to the Limited at 18" wheels?

I searched high and low and can't find a direct answer. Help?

Wheel size is irrelevant as all models have tires of the same outside diameter.

An SR5 & Limited are the same height (they even share the same suspension).

As wheel size changes the tire sizes will accommodate most of the difference

    265/70-16 = 30.61” OD
    265/65-17 = 30.60” OD
    265/60-18 = 30.52” OD

The limited will actually get you 0.045” closer to the ground. Or in other words, they’re all the exact same size and height.

    Just different sidewall heights.

    Cheers

Have you looked at easy load trailers? When I used to have motorcycles I always hated trying to get the in the bed.
