    Just getting started.
They look nice, but the amount of wrap around doesn't leave a lot of brake light visible from directly behind the truck.

Agreed. Instead of wasting that black space next to the backup lights, they should have put turn signal LEDs there. Or used the "C" and "Ↄ" for turn signals, and put brake lights next to the backup lights.

Same as the Morimoto tails, it seems like when the turn signal is active, you lose the brake light. To me that's a safety issue... brake light upgrades should increase safety, not decrease it.

my exact first thoughts. large waste of space, with an ultimately tiny brake light illumination zone.

also, the modular/paintable design is extremely curious to me.
of critical note, in the very clear pictures on their site, there do not appear to be any of the required DOT compliance markings on the tail lamp assembly. my first suspicion is the modular design--official DOT specifications do not allow modular lighting assemblies. there is a very strong chance that these are not DOT compliant, making them technically illegal to use on any road-going vehicle. i also have a strong suspicion that the brake illumination zone does not meet the minimum DOT square-inch measurement that is required of any on-road tail lamp assembly(fun fact, newer ford mustang tail lights are allowed to be sequential because the first segment of the sequence meets the minimum lighting zone requirements).

while most officers of the law might pass it without concern, all it takes is one grumpy but all-knowing officer to ruin your day running illegal tail lights, regardless of how they were purchased...

All these weird led taillights…and all I want is some old skools.

    Why isn’t anyone making these?

You could probably make those yourself, would cost a bit, or you could buy clear tails & just wrap the sections yourself in the orange clear red colors.

There are some threads on here that have, too much of a pain in the ass, and don’t turn out quite right either.

Surprised no manufacturer has made one yet, think they would sell like hotcakes.

    We are friends!
I don't need the tron like LED's, though they are nice for durability and longevity (OE's anyway, very doubtful of aftermarket)

Ha! Can’t stand all the crazy LED lights, look goofy…dunno never had any problems with incandescents, some have lasted years and years. While I see newer vehicles with half the led bank out.

That is definitely the major drawback! Total replacement.

It is isn’t it, instead of replacing a $1.57 bulb.

Those house LEDs that say they last 23 years, we get about a year out of them. Longevity my ass… ;):)

Look at those! Looks good on the silver. I had tail lights like that on my 89 Civic hatchback in 2002? It was a long time ago... Never seen them on anything newish.

I actually did end up buying them (only paid $120 after extremeterrain fucked my wheel order & tried to make it right) been running them for about a month now. Install instructions could be clearer but besides that no issues so far.
