Back again lol, I have a 2009 regular cab Tacoma, only realized after that I have one red and one white tail light. I’m wondering if I can get just the lense to make them match; because it’s not worth buying a whole new one and besides the color they’re pretty much the same. It looks like one of them already had a lease replacement, and the other one’s cracked anyway. Any tips or links? I inserted pics. I plan on relaxing the white lense

Buy a new set. Amazon has a lot under 100 for the pair.

Headlight lenses can be replaced, albeit not easily, but with some heat, can be sepearated.
Tail lights are welded together. You can not replace a tail light lens. You'll need to replace the assembly.

I just poked a hole in my rear passenger tail light (2nd time I’ve done this). As mentioned before tons of cheap options on Amazon for around $75 and that’s for a pair! Id go aftermarket and just check for condensation. Good luck!

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Like MUDDOG321 said, you have 2 completely different taillights. The driver's side is an old school filament bulb style and the pass side is LED. The cheapest option is to match the older red one by finding one on Craigslist or Ebay. I think you need a separate harness to make it work though. Otherwise, just get a matching set of whatever.

You can't take them apart. I had an LED go out on mine and thought I could cut it apart and solder in a new one. Nope. Trashed it instead. Don't even try.

The same shit everyone else has.
One is a halogen. The other is LED.

You’ll have to replace the whole housing to get them to match.

Pick the ones you like best and get a replacement set.

    whichever one you want.

never seen a lens sold for this. Would entail bake in oven to separate butyl.

For OEM tailights this is not correct. OEM taillight lenses are sonic welded to the reflector (melts the 2 plastic parts together), and will not come apart like the headlight assemblies. Maybe some aftermarket parts are different, but the ones in my 2008 are welded together.

Absolutely correct. You won't separate an OEM tail light and get it back together.

I learned this tinkering with mine (which the lens was busted anyways, I just was curious).

Plus as you said, OP has 2 different kinds in the first place.

Decide which you like and buy a match, or get a pair and be done with it.
