Need to leave a great review on TacomaBeast. Awesome customer service and I got these headlights within a week I ordered them. LOVE them. Look great.

ISO recommendations for blacked out fog lights tho! Thanks

They were actually better sealed than my oem. Everything was siliconed or had gaskets on them. Very impressed compared to my oems

Are they just Plug & Play?
I realize there are no side marker lights...
    Is the rest straight forward?
I don't care to, do any cut splice and solder work...
    Thanks for posting

Already a lot of issues with condensation and hot spots, poor output compared to OEM with those lights.

Glad you like them, but that pig put on her lipstick already.

While I haven't had mine quite that long I haven't had any issues. I know there is another thread where others have had them for quite a while and no complaints so far.

Those are actually pretty nice and tastefully done. I would buy a set of those if I was in need of some replacements. Some of the headlight options out there are just ‘mods for the sake of doing visual mods’ for the kids, and pretty ricey. Those TacomaBeast lights are done really well though.

That's what I liked about them. I prefer OEM looking modifications or at least clean enough they could be a factory option. I always see newer vehicles with DRL led bars and think it's a modern look. None of the other Tacoma headlight options had that and the ones that did were flashy and obviously aftermarket. I liked these best because they look like they could be factory and the light bar is done right so you just see the line and not the individual LEDs which makes the truck look MUCH newer. Once I replaced my foggy OEM headlights with these I get people all the time thinking it's a new Tacoma. I tell them it's about 8 years old and they don't believe me now. That's exactly what I was looking for and the reviews have been pretty solid on these so far as compared to other aftermarket headlights so I took a chance. So far I've been quite happy and the only hope is that they hold up long term.

Yes, it’s direct replacement, just plug and play.

Not sure what u mean by side marker, but there is a yellow reflector light on the side.

Couldn’t agree more!! That is why I chose these over the halos. The DRL bar is classier IMO

I never got into the halo or the older-look style that has the individual LEDs visible and I think they both look especially off on a Tacoma. This LED bar look with one solid line is what all the newer vehicles have and it reminds me of a Tesla Model S for instance. They look understated and super classy which, IMHO, compliments this Tacoma nicely. They look good on or off and look like something that came from the factory but in a fresh & new version which is exactly what I was looking for. When they run those $100 off codes it's a no-brainer... again, assuming they stay sealed up and fog free for several years. So far so good!

He might be referring to the larger orange side marker light that you lose when you plug in the LED plug. You will have to rewire the LED plug to its own power source in order to retain the side marker.20180829_205614.jpg

A few mods here and there and counting....
I would totally retrofit these. Can't justify the cost for these as my retrofits would blow these out of the water in terms of lighting, but I do agree, it gives the early gen2 an updated modern look.

Don’t have any night pics, but I will say the low beam lights are not as bright as oem. Although, the high beams are brighter than oem. If you upgrade bulb though, It voids the 1 year warranty

Do they use the same bulb as the OEM lights use?

So the DRL wire powers the LED light bar?
