Those wheels really look good, except for the color, If those skins come in silver, they'd look killer on that Taco.

I just ordered these..how do they install? Is it more then just a clip on? Do they go under the lug nuts? Hey man, verses the hassle of painting wheels, all the prep work,or paying a ton of money for cool, wheels that you'll always be stressed over,I think this is the way to go.

I have stock steelies (6 bolt), and bought a set of the chrome ones from Car ID. My son threatened to disown me if I used them chrome so I sanded them, primed them and painted them with a Duplicolor charcoal color and clearcoated them. Pinstriped black around the edge of the cover and added some chrome dots around the rim of the wheel to get the rivet look. Took a wheel off at a time , removed center cap and popped them on. they are very secure. Looked good with my silver vehicle. Got tired of them after about a year and they are now residing in my garage attic. I would have much preferred aftermarket rims but they served their purpose. Sorry no pics.

I ran the black covers for around a year. They just pop on the rims and they clip around the spokes. They were kind of a pain to remove for tire rotations and the plastic clips ended up scratching the wheels from being taken on and off so many times. For 60 bucks at the time they were worth it to me until I found some third gen wheelsD9525A27-F2DA-4B69-A602-3BBB978EC835.jpg
Edit to add: these were not held on by the lug nuts at all, they had to be removed to be able to remove the lug nuts

Like said, the good part, when you see how bad, the black wheels look, you can just take them off & store them in the garage.
