Tacoma tube doors like a Jeep

Saw these today. Can they do this to the hood and grill so we can see over it while wheeling?

 

Wonder what they do with all the door wiring to be able to do that

 

Why is this a thing?

 

I like it, I love driving my dads Jeep with the doors off. Don’t know how it’d look on an access cab tho.

I was wondering how you roll the windows up?

 

Windows more like they need install a lock button for when you go shopping.

 

It will look really funny if the side airbags go off, but the occupants won’t. Definitely for an off-road only vehicle.

 

I guess my statement should have been more clear, no big deal if you remove the doors and leave them off permanently, I was referring to removing and installing the doors on a regular basis.

It is so you can see when wheeling. The doors can block your view of rocks or ledges next to you or directly in front of you.

 

It is pointless if you don't wheel. But if you do wheel they are sick. And Fuck your clean interior.
