    Hi there

Thinking about upgrading to a 2024 TRD PRO. Currently have a 2019 TRD Sport with upgraded shocks, OEM lift kit, KO2’s and an upgraded sound system.

Any 4 gen TRD Pro owners have thoughts on their new truck? Also considering a ranger raptor…..

    Thanks in advance.

Hi! First, it sounds like your 2019 is an awesome truck, so can’t go wrong keeping it. If you’re looking to mix it up, I would say, it’s been a worthwhile upgrade for me, to say the least. This is my 9th Toyota 4x4 and my previous was a 2020 Pro. Don’t let any naysayers fool ya on this engine. This thing is fast and did incredibly well, if not better, than my previous when taking it to the dirt. It feels like it floats more so than anything I’ve experienced- absorbing bumps and allowing you to keep it on the track like none other. I’m a bit of a nerd so all the tech definitely is up my alley. If you can do it without overextending yourself, I say go for it!!

    Thanks!

the ‘19 taco would stay in the family, going to my son.

I am here in New England and it might be tough finding one for a while …..

Don’t feel like paying over MSRP either

    thanks again.

I recently went from a 22 pro 6MT to my 24 pro and it feels like the new truck is from a different planet! After 800kms of driving I’m more excited to drive the truck each time as I get used to the engine and handling as well as the extensive tech it has over the 22. I said for months I was going to miss the 6MT but I’m so happy with this new truck I could never go back. The hybrid system makes it feel like you’ve got a V8 in a midsize truck and reminds me of my brothers jeep Cherokee SRT the way it floats effortlessly on a wave of torque cruising around town. Can’t wait to take it off road next week..

Here's an awesome Review of the new 2024 Pro from a long time Toyota mechanic that now owns his own Toyota shop. This guy is real good and honest. Been watching his video's for a couple years now and learned a lot.
