Tacoma Police Truck

The police department local to me used to have an XJ Cherokee. That's gotta be more illogical than a Tacoma -- I used to have an XJ.

The San Diego lifeguards have used Tacomas and 4Runners for many years. There are other Tacomas in public service, too. Even a pre-Tacoma pickup working at the Mount Palomar Observatory a few years ago.

 

Not even a comparison. A Harley is far faster, more maneuverable, more comfortable to spend a day on/in and one of the few bikes that can easily have enough storage for extra gear.

 

Reminds me of the Police 4Runners in Hawaii

 

In LA our lifeguards rock Tacomas and our meter maids in Culver City(small incorporated city in La county) do as well.

 

However, this drug dealing cowboy decided to try and outrun the cops with his Tacoma.
