    The police department local to me used to have an XJ Cherokee. That's gotta be more illogical than a Tacoma -- I used to have an XJ. :D

    The San Diego lifeguards have used Tacomas and 4Runners for many years. There are other Tacomas in public service, too. Even a pre-Tacoma pickup working at the Mount Palomar Observatory a few years ago.

    Not even a comparison. A Harley is far faster, more maneuverable, more comfortable to spend a day on/in and one of the few bikes that can easily have enough storage for extra gear.

    TRD Supercharger, headers, Cold air intake, MagnaFlow exhaust, ARB front bumper, Kennesaw Mtn rear w/ tire mnt, OME suspension with beefed up rear springs with 2 1/2” lift, 285/75/16 tires, Shell, Contractors rack, Road shower and 120v inverter in cab.
    In LA our lifeguards rock Tacomas and our meter maids in Culver City(small incorporated city in La county) do as well.
