You're going to make me buy this tune very soon, I have a feeling. My "buy it now" finger is getting very twitchy.

Can you increase the rev limit and make the tune a bit more aggressive on the next update?

ECU Connect doesn't work for these ECUs, already tried ^_^

Rev limit is going to be an optional update.

Do I remember correctly that the rpms >2300 are optimized? There is a safety concern about dynos and lower rpms.
Is there any long-term development to improve the really low rpms as well?

    I'm not talking dsg.

The lower model and older models (think jetta) have the same S mode as the tacoma. Except when you put it in S it stays in that gear.

Early 3.4L "legacy" ecu is swap out.

4.0L 2nd gen we are working on a handheld. That's after we are complete with all 3rd gen stuff.

    Very nice GTR.

No worries folks, no need to get hostile.

    This guy gets it.

Too bad we can't get a handheld. Is it a limitation of our ECU?

I am pretty sure that even the 1.02 tune will still be a beta. Hopefully we can start datalogging soon so that OV can see what is happening and start finalizing the tweaking on the fielded 1.02 tune. Beyond that, having a couple more dyno testers (especially M/T) would really help OV dial it in. I'm in FL or I'd be there already... ;-)

I just purchased the tune and can't wait to install! I would also be interested in the S mode gear lock. I assume the gear lock would work with cruise control? I purchased the shiftsense pro, but have abandoned it due to the way the truck shifts in S mode. The truck shifts buttery smooth in D, but in S mode the shift is much slower and pronounced. Would the shift in S mode be adjustable to a quicker shift? Thanks for your hard work on the 3rd gen Tacoma tune @OVTune! It is much needed/appreciated.

I didn't think you guys would be in such a big hurry if you're waiting to get your truck back from the differential recall...

You shouldn't be in a hurry either since i'm sure you're still waiting for Toyota to handle your frame recall.

Now move along to the back of the line, no cutting.

@OVTune There are many requests for the S mode lock. Is this something that you can add to 1.02 for the current tuners and the future ones?

Can someone explain what S mode gear lock means?
