I got the 2nd one on your post. The 1/4 in aluminum was good and powder coated but the hardware was poop. Also I don’t know why but it does have ‘TRD’ stamped into it but had to be covered up with a thin metal plate that was bolted on. My guess was to not get sued.

I have the first one listed above. I replaced the hardware with some stainless and hit everything with that silver crap that gets everywhere. It bolted up without any hassle and it appears to function as expected. I pitched the flimsy stock tins into the recycling bin. :D

It looks solid and appears to be of the same quality as the OEM Sport unit on my Gen2.

Any recommendations on types of replacement bolts to get? Grade 10.9 I assume?

I have the Lostar version. Painted it black and added vinyl TRD letter on it.

I’ve got the knock off one and I can’t tell a difference from OEM one. It’s very tough off road, just like the OEM one.

I see absolutely no reason to buy OEM unless you don’t support made in China products.

Anyone know if these fit on the 3rd gen 2.7L? Granted the oil change window thingy wont be useable.

Lostar. I purchased it and it mounted up nice and easy on my 2022 Double Cab. When it arrived the shipping box was beat up but the plate was in good condition. I was surprised at how thick it was; about 3/16 or 1/4 inch.
The hardware was graded galvanized hardware and looked okay. So I used the included hardware. No issues.

The hole is in the correct place to access the drain valve and the small cover plate removes to reasonable access to the filter.

    Overall I would recommend it.

I bought the 1st one you listed, the KUAFU one from ebay 285$ Shipped over a year ago.
It's fine good quality but has an edge or Two that could be smoother. The only other issue that I had was installing it. The front and middle pairs of bolts with spacers were pre-installed in the wrong position and it would not line up as it was to bolt up. Once that was figured out and the bolts were swapped to the ideal locations it bolted up like a dream. Holes line up to drain the oil and plate comes off with 4 5mm hex head screws to access the filter. Room to access the filter is adequate.

I just went to Ace Hardware and picked up some stainless so they wouldn't rust.

Kind of a silly photo, but it shows how well it fits.

Did you pick one of these, which one? How did it go? Considering one myself now. Probably between KUAFU from hecasausa and the lostar. Might paint black, and i prefer no trd lettering or other branding.
