So what's the most you've spent on different mods for a single truck?

    getting there....

$300 for my exhaust was the most expensive mod so far. i can justify it though, cause i like the sound so much.(plus it was alot cheaper than a borla or magnaflow system)!! my wife starts giving me the ol "evil eye" when i mention the rest ofthe things i want to do with my truck:D!!!

    Seriously!?!?!? I want one!

I spent just around $500 for Pioneer deck, iPod adapter, tint, DRL Relay, and floor mats (upgrade?).

Remote Start, Nerf Bars, Bull Bar, Tinted Windows. Next up is a DVD player w/ Nav
So far I've pretty much just upgraded my taco in the usual ways. Window tint, floor mats, side steps, and bull bar. Next I've got plans for a new exhaust, but then I'll set my sights on a dvd/nav. After that I'll have to come up with something new, because adding on to my taco is a great way to put off any further commitment with the girlfriend. Just joking....... sort of.

a guy i worked w/ wanted to get rid of it to get something w/ a better ipod interface since he used that all the time. as for me, my ipod and 40gb toshiba both use a headphone jack that connects to my head unit's brain...so didnt really matter to me

i believe ive seen borla exhausts for high 400's...

1200 for the lift.. i asked my local "expensive" offroading shop to price me for a 3" lift and they gave me a quote for like 700 for a revtec..

so idk if you got jewed or not.. different place, different price maybe?

no your right, i just rounded off all of the cost. actually got it for under $700, had to check the reciepts when i got home!. wheels and tire were a little less too. Got the Borla through the off road shop, i try not to do too much on-line with the credit card

i believe its where you take off the handles and fill them in with bodo and all that and then sand and paint it back to normal color.. all said and done you have no handles to open your doors you have to have a remote door opener which will pop open your door a couple of inches when you hit it. im not sure if people take off the badges as well, i guess its a personal preference

shaving definately has to do w/ door handles...but also can include many things. i had the wiper nozzles on my s-10 shaved...people door handles, tailgate handles, wiper nozzles, 3rd brake lights, tail lights, side mirrors, some also do turn signals/reflectors (depending on the model of vehicle in question), and others...just to make the body as smooth and slick as possible.

and to 07trdsport, bondo isnt always the best option as it can peel or even come out completely. the way we did everything was cut and bend metal to form, just small enough to fit into places, and weld the seams and grind them down. no bondo to worry about and keeps the integrity of the hole. mainly for bigger for projects like taillights and such. and yes, debadging is great. also helps smooth out the truck and show its body lines better, IMO. i did it to mine and have a pic in my gallery. ex-mini trucker here....lol
