So I'm looking for the frame dimensions for a 97 tacoma regular cab. To be more specific I Ned the measurement from the middle cab body mount to the rear body mount. I found the extra cab diagram and the measurement is 62.28 any help would be greatly appreciated

I have some chassis manuals at my shop that will have that info but I think I only have '99 and '02 books. I bet they are the same.

That would be great if you could send that my way. I'm 99.99999% sure all the cab mounts were the same for all 1st gen years.

I think the locations will be the same but the heights can vary. I found that out when I put an '04 frame under my '99 extended cab. I took some pictures of the diagrams today but of course they look like crap and lack detail but they are missing that exact dimension anyway. I own a '96 regular cab 4x4 that I can measure for you. Are you trying to see if you frame is bent or are you fabbing something?

That would be cool if you could mesur it. I am putting a 97 2wd reguler cab on a 01 extra cab frame. I need to cut out rufly 18 inches but I want to get it exactly.

43.75" is what I measured on my regular cab and 62.25" on my extended cab. That is center to center of cab bolts.

Thanks for doing that. I got just under 44 on my regular cab frame and it looks like there is a little room for adjustment in the cab.

Here are the '99 measurements for regular cab and extended cab so pay attention to which one is which.

is there any info in these diagrams that say how thick the metal is,
interested in the inside little section that angles from box to the C, is it that same thickness as rest of frame?
    ty.

Do you have diagrams for a 2001 ext cab 2.4l manual trans versus an automatic? I am looking to swap my frame and the only one I have found around me is for an automatic.

edit: or know where to find this information online?
