duro bump stops are about 1/2 longer than stock...trying to avoid bottoming out the shock...

Durobumps are .5" longer than stock because of the dual durometer rubber...functionally, they are the same length.

Yeah, I know exactly what you’re talking about. I have them on my truck with Fox 2.5 coilovers set at just under 2” from stock ride height, which is just under 3” when compared to an SR, as ORs (and Pros) are 1” higher out of the box.

Durobumps is a local company to me, and I’ve had plenty of discussions with them and other outfitters...

so do you recommend them for a 2-in lift... trying to avoid bottoming out the shocks...are wheelers longer...if needed?

I guess what I'm trying to say is it really needed for a 2-in lift with good quality adjustable shocks...eibach

I'd recommend them, and they work well for my setup. Consider your own use case...bottoming out the front isn't really an issue unless you're hucking jumps.

You can always contact them and ask those specific questions: https://toyotabumpstops.com/contact/

I asked durobump a question about a month ago and still have no answer. I did the BAMF rear shock relocation with 12” kings, and was wondering how much compression before the 4.25/5.25 rear bumps actually stop the uptravel. Rolling around with no bumps right now, and would be pissed to blow out one of my shocks. Don’t know which to buy, but without them I can definitely flex the truck enough to bottom out the rear shock. I’m gonna cut the shock tabs off again and drop em lower, tonight, but wish they had a dimension for their bumps fully compressed, so I could figure out where I need to put them to retain 1” of exposed piston rod. Right now with the front flexed to the point the rear is bottomed out I have 4.5” from the flip kit to the frame. Think I can move my tabs down about 1.5” without them being to much below the axle. Which should give me 4” from flip kit to frame, w/ 1” of piston rod exposed. But I have no idea how much the duro bumps compress.

I recently installed the DUROBUMP front and rear (4.25in). Front set works as advertised, although the drivers side rear failed on me... The picture below is the passenger side with the bump installed and working as advertised, the other is the driver's side bump that is no longer attached... I noticed it was missing the other day...Completely torn off the mounting pad.

I’d say they matched the shape of the axle well, but they aren’t snug until they’re tightened. So I would say there was definitely space as well.

Installed 4.25 yesterday… seems real close to the strike plate… running HD Dakars with a shim underneath. Is this how everyone else’s looks?
