Anyone here on TW purchased these tail lights? Ive had some bad luck with their products lately and just want to see if they’re worth it.

For that kind of money, stick with your stock lights and get yourself a @MESO stage 1 kit. It will look and perform way better!

I’ll never purchase a single product from them. They’re a parasitic entity.

Mine leaked and it caused a bunch of problems for me because it was shorting out the bulb in the assembly causing a bunch of braking system malfunctions. Switched back to stock lights. Loved their look but just not a reliable product.

I’ve got the same truck so that helps with picturing how it would look. Those do look really nice. Did you get those straight from Toyota?

That's a good idea and I'm trying to go that route, but they are constantly sold out. Very frustrating!

I'd bought mine back in July of 2018 and I don't have any problems with functionality. It works as it is designed and intended.

I just installed the ones I ordered from Tacoma Beast. First off, they don’t come with a reverse light and from what I can tell they don’t disclose that. Secondly, there was a defect on where the light meets the housing that they said was “normal” from when they break them out of their moulds. So I installed my some led reverse lights that I bought from Amazon and hope that they won’t leak. After reading the comments on this thread, I’m glad I didn’t throw away my stock lights. Oh yeah, and their customer service is crappy.

I would get in touch and file a warranty claim. I have a set of there headlights that are being processed for return because of how they came. Scratches, dust and other particles inside the headlight. I was hoping the tail lights would be better but this whole thread solidified this.

Treasure Coast Toyota is where I bought my truck and my wife's Prius. These are good looking tail lights but you don't end up with LEDs. Still the same OEM halogen bulbs.

I've had these for 2ish years and other than moisture on the inside, they work just like any other tail light. They are obviously some Chinese manufacturing when you look closely at them, but most tail lights other than OEM are.
