    Welcome!
Not sure this is simply a plug n play option, but anything can be done. I don’t have this option, but have read complain resolution FYI.

Sounds like at least a new wiring harness for all the cameras.

Honestly it isn't that great. I would look at aftermarket options instead. You can get higher resolution cameras and have the ability to switch it on at any time.

As an owner of the PVM system I can honestly say....don't.

Manny provided a great link, excellent resource there.

As far as the system itself though understand that the quality is VERY poor. Its been a while but complaint threads about the quality were a monthly occurrence around here. The quality really is that bad. Toyota uses a comms system from the 60's to communicate with the cameras so the quality is junk, especially after they twist and warp the ultra-wide angle images in order to offer the 360 view. The only thing I find it useful for is the 360 camera and getting a nice perfect parking job between the lines, something you can do without a 360. From an off-road perspective I cannot see it being useful, the quality is marginal to tell if the tire is going to drop off a curb, I cannot see it being useful for the trail.

I have looked at other options like new cameras, etc and unfortunately its a fundamental component of the architecture used.

No need to spend your time & money in order to be as disappointed as the rest of us who have it OEM from the factory.

Great for navigating parking lot lines at the grocery store, but on the trail I can’t tell if I’m about to drive over a rock or a very unlucky armadillo.
