I'm a little annoyed that Poly Performance gave me the middle finger when I asked them about why my alignment still floated after putting in their Taco Tabs. They stated it was how the TC gussets were welded in and "spread" which is a joke.

If you have installed the TC gussets you know there pretty hard to mess up, but yet I am at fault and have heard a couple folks that had the same issue.

The tabs don't fit, they are too small for the TC tab gussets and my alignment moves backing out of my driveway. Save your money and weld the stock cams. Figured I'd share my luck with these jokers before someone else made the move to these stupid things.C01F35C8-05C5-4CB3-920E-DCB60A3A3BB1.jpgC437D5AC-8AA1-40F2-A258-CCCD5C1F792B.jpg

Welding the stock tabs is really a pretty good option. I have yet to hear of anyone that's welded theirs, who's had a problem with them.
For the money you'd spend on the Taco Tabs, you could buy an inexpensive welder at HF.

You don't weld the cams. You weld a nice bead behind your stock tabs, attaching them more securely to the frame.

    Yes
yes you do, you put a tack weld on the eccentric washer to keep it from moving. running a bead behind the tabs is a solution for the the tabs being flattened by a moron

Taco Tabs do not use round eccentric washers that could rotate. Taco Tabs uses almost square shaped alignment plates, nestled between the frame tangs.

While this is a topic from years ago, Taco Tab kit supplies new bolts. Those bolts must be tight to prevent minor alignment movement. Once correctly tightened, the bolt tightly secures the pivot bushing from moving out of place.

If not correctly tightened, the suspension bushing will wear away the frame causing other concerns.

The bolts supplied with Taco Tabs, per the instructions, the large bolts torque to 125 ftlb, while the small bolts are 100 ftlb.
