I was set on getting an air vent mount, which left the 3 main options: Hondo, Offroam, and Tackform.

I still have the metal plate on my phone and on the case as well, from my magnetic mount in my old car. So I was leaning toward a magnetic option again (not because I didn’t want to take off the plates, but because I like the convenience). Thought about mixing a Hondo mount, Ram arm, and Scosche magnet, but then I came across the Tackform which is on sale for $60 and only cost $3 to ship. Ordered Monday, and it came this morning. I absolutely love it so far. Took less than 5 minutes to unpack and set up (while taking photos too). It is rock solid and the magnet is super strong too, which I was pleasantly surprised about.

If you are interested in a magnetic mount, this is a great one! (And if you feel like using a different mount, that’s great too.)

Any tips to install? Spent 30 mins trying to mount the bracket to my 2022 TRD Pro and it won’t grab. Honestly not even sure how it would as there is very little lip on the back side of the vent to hold onto.
