Bought and installed these last week. Replaced broken/rotted stock Pro coils, reused Fox shocks.
Toytec had them to me in Canada in less than 24 hours.
First impressions are it looks pretty cool and the ride quality is decidedly less mannerly than the stock set up was.

So it was a total fail? Or turned out good? I’m confused

Not a fail for sure, I'll prob get used to it. But for people that don't use their trucks offroad, definitely something to consider.

Is it soft or hard? Bouncy or dampened? Body roll?

I imagine that it's gonna be extra stiff. The coils are far stiffer than stock and at that height (Toytec says 2-2.5" of lift) you're likely taking the Fox shocks out of their proper rebound zone for driving.

Since OP didn't provide a link I'm just guessing that these are the springs he installed: Are you planning to lift the rear as well or are you going for the front rake look?

If you're bored and/or hate yourself check out this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...pgrade-for-front.643212/page-59#post-25958312

The only good thing that's come out of it so far is knowing that you'll remain in the proper rebound zone of these TRD Pro Fox shocks with 1.5" of lift or less...too bad they still aren't available for 2020+ models

I wonder how these will work with a Hybrid front bumper and a winch? Probably pushing an extra 175 lbs up front.

Supposing your current springs are 650# and we round up to 90lbs per side that's about .14" of lowering on your current setup. You'd also need to know the difference in length from your current springs to calculate how much lift you could expect from these.

Are the current springs 650 lbs? I thought they were @615 or 620

Oh I don't actually know. If it was 620# you're looking at maybe .15" lower. The point is it takes a significant amount of weight to really influence ride height.

Edit: it's also a little more complicated to figure how ride height will be affected but I don't know how to calculate motion rates

With 700lb coils and no weight up front I’m betting it pretty stiff.

I bet it is. Mine is.

Toytec springs are all 700lb I learned after getting mine and its was stiff. I needs some weight.

Hey Troy, how do you like the setup then? Too stiff?

Yes, for me they are. I don't have any issue off road when aired down, street driving is way too stiff with no added weight on those 700lb springs. I will be changing them out at some point.

Copy that. I may end up going a different route too then since mine's a daily driver with no weight in the front right now. Thanks for the info!
