If you’re talking about the torx bolts that bolt the bed to the frame, it’s T-55.

These are the T Slot nuts that fit into the rails: https://www.mcmaster.com/94750a595

    They accept a 3/8"-16 bolt.

3/8” diameter depending on what your mounting. Basic stuff 3/8”x1” bolts are fine.

If you live in a salt state, put some corrosion protection on those t slot nuts and bolts, they rust!

    Yes they do!!

They use a black oxide on them, which doesn't do much.

If you're going to paint them, degrease them first, they're pretty oily upon arrival.

I got some of these from some place called Hondo Garage. Not a plug, never heard of them, but they did fine by me. They're aluminum not steel, you can twist them in mid-rail (still a PITA to get them in, but you don't have to go all the way to the ends) and they're 5/16" thread, which is still overkill for the strength of the rail anyway. The ones with 3/8" threads are just ridiculous unless you wanna use ungraded bolts made of a hard cheese, and I found I needed to drill out mounting holes too big in too many things.

I wanted something a little beefier, went overboard. Got some short carriage bolts, used a grinder and modded them. They work great, can hold more weight than the rails that's for sure.

I would not recommend these unless you are very careful. They are not threaded all the way through and you can screw up a bolt easily if it is too long and you tighten down too much.

They do however make the t nuts that are fully threaded all the way through.
