Symptoms of the cps.

What are the symptoms of a bad cps. Other than being stranded. Ive noticed when going to pull out into traffic the truck almost acts like it wants to stall. It's an auto magic. I am not currently on the recall list. But neither am I for the leaking diff. And I got that.

 

My CPS was just replaced under recall and it still stutters and stalls when I mash it

 

Sounds like a multitude of potential other problems with that symptom. Have you considered air flow/fuel quality/fuel delivery/spark/etc? I know you're under warranty but I don't think they'll investigate deeper than the recall unless you ask.

Recently it seems like I have to give the truck everything it's got just to get it to go. It feels and sounds like I'm pulling a trailer full of bricks and the truck is doing everything it can to move forward.

 

Does it do the same thing if you select the ECS button?

 

Not as bad. It surges with ECS. Ive just been getting rough with it now and quit driving it like a V6 and more like a 4 banger, if that makes any sence.
