May take this for a test drive later on this afternoon. If it was a stick it would be in my yard. Love the led headlights. dealers looking at trying a locker in for me but it's going to have to be an add on.

 

The OEM LED headlights added on to an SR from the dealer? Did I read that right?

Couldn't you get an OR with the LED pkg? it would already have an e-locker.

 

OEM LED headlights look the pic above.

The headlights on the truck appear to be std headlights (projector low beam lens). The dealer may have replaced the halogen bulbs with LED headlight bulbs.

 

As shown those are the halogen headlight assemblies. The factory wire harness is different for the OEM LED headlights. It is however electrically equivalent and adapter pigtails are available to retrofit the OEM LED assemblies; I doubt many dealers know that though. Likely they would (did?) slap in some cheapo LED bulbs, which is technically illegal and actually has worse performance. You can confirm by looking at the back of the bulb, it will have a heatsink if it's a aftermarket LED replacement. Hard to tell, looks like that white one in the background may have proper factory LED headlights.

Just sharing that info, hopefully helpful, wouldn't want a dealer to burn you.

 

I love my 2020 SX, such a great package with the new bigger touch screen, and led DRL's black wheels and fenders etc. The lack of foglights kinda annoyed me, but I bought a set of KC G4 Amber fogs and had them wired up to a factory switch in the blanks for a couple of hundred bucks. Well worth it. The halogen lights are deff not as bright as the LEDs and HIDs on the higher end models. But still ok.

Its a great value of a package though overall with what it came with.

 

thanks. I believe its just led DRLs. I was really just happy with the whole package at a price of $34k. Tbh this is actually the first truck other then a sr or off road my dealer has had in stock.

those aren't the correct headlights with LED DRL's, they're halogen and use the turn signals as DRL's

if the price is right for you and you want LED headlights and DRL's you can get a set of morimoto xb headlights for $1k

I hope you mean $34k including the roll over loan from a previous vehicle.

 

Thanks for info. This would be my first vehicle with leds as an option. I just stopped by on my break and really liked the look. I will go back and read all the fine print

 

still a good truck and shouldn't make or break the deal for you but i think everyone here just wants to make sure you don't get swindled by the dealership with false promises of LED headlights or DRL's

 

Sticker is at $35k. How much should I pay?

 

MSRP (V6 4x4 SX) is $32,700

 

Did they say $34k + tax or $34k total? Depending on the answer it might not actually be a bad deal but also not great imo.

You can normally take around 10-12% off msrp

So it should come out to about $30k+ tax if you have the same options I have listed.
