First off, sorry for the repost guys. I know there's plenty of posts on this as I have seen them before, but now I can't really find them.

I'm looking to switch out my dashboard color to something like the picture provided. My main question is, where do I buy the the bulbs and which bulbs do I buy and how many of them.

Or if there is anyone in California that does this then even better??

Thanks again and sorry for the repost!

I did mine, wasn't too bad. I just did my needles and gauges because I wanted mine to be more colorful and didn't want to spend extra money for the lights that won't be on all the time

So how many did you need to buy to do the job you did? I heard a few people used that site, so just need an estimate of how many pieces to get. Mind posting a picture ?

I just bought like 15 White, 15 blue. Had some extras - but that was needles and background only.
Mine has blue needles with a white background like the one in your pic, except the warning lights and turn signal are stock colors.

Here's what it looked like when I did it, but not too long later I took it out for cleaning. Had it sitting up on a work bench, left for a while came back to find it on the ground and not all the lights work.

Are you just going to do the lights that are on all the time? Or warning lights + signals too?

Nice! That's basically how I want mine to look. So about 30 pieces.... I wonder how many pieces I would need for the turn singnals and warning lights too?

Umm, I might as well do all of them since I'm taking it apart anyways.

There's quite a few warning lights, unless you have them on quite often I wouldn't do it. Saves a little extra $ and time, also makes the warnings more noticeable against thr white/blue.

I got about 30 and had some extra, glad I had them because they're easy to lose. I think the signals were 2 lights each

    - Background = 11
    - Needles = 7
    - Turn Signals = 2 per side
    - Additional indicators (ie CEL, Batt, Cruise etc..) = 1 per light
Got the exact #s from that thread ^

Just curious, can anything be done to the 12+ clusters?

Cool. I just went to that link, and it must have been updated pretty recent because last time I saw that thread, I didn't see the new style cluster. I wonder if the process for changing just the white backlighting is about the same as the older cluster?

Yea I would imagine it's the same thing but with different color lights and newer looking gauge background
