What is the easiest way to remove the switch panel (left knee location). Are there tabs up top or is it best to remove the 3 bolts across the bottom and reach from behind and remove.

Put a knife or skinny flathead screwdriver in and push towards the center of the panel. Do it on both sides. Be firm but gentle. Preferably not when its cold out. There are a couple of tabs but if you just do pry out where the red arrow is and work it , it will come out.413888D1-C0A5-42A7-BD92-1D0B3D06AF10.jpg

I used a plastic trim tool to pry up in the area shown above. After prying it out a little ways it’ll just pop out.

Use a trim tool as stated. I got mine off right there to install my Redarc

When I did my bed lights recently on my prewired SR, I reached under dash and pushed it out from behind. It's just clips. No prying, marring or removing other areas to get it out. Just push hard from behind it.

Pushing hard though could possibly break the tabs off the panel. No need to force it.
