Anyone know who make a switch blank for the pictured spot? I moved the AUX/USB behind the Climate Control section and ran a usb to the glove box for carplay. So I would like to fill the hole in.

I might just buy a new oem switch that doesn't connect to anything but fills the hole at least.

I've thought about doing the same thing because I use a mini USB flash drive plugged into that port and the it's door won't close all the way. It's too hot out to do it right now but my plan is to leave that port operational in the dash and piggy-back another to the armrest box for my flash drive. That should work as long as I only use one port at the time.
I have not explored what wire connector that port uses yet (too hot & I'm lazy) and build a "Y" cable to run to the console box.

Would it be cheaper to put the OEM usb port/switch back, and just get a new radio-> usb cable off alibaba for $10 bucks to route wherever you want? Thats what I did and just left the OEM switch in the dash (not functional) and routed the new usb cable into my center console. I bet that USB Port costs more than it should since its probably specific to Toyota and not a frequently purchased part.

That's what I said I will probably just buy a new OEM switch to put in the blank, but not have it function

Yea I meant put the one you took out back, and just buy a new cable, vs having to buy the new switch. Just a thought, no worries!

I’ve never seen a blank that fits in that smaller usb slot.

The original “small” usb slots, yes. The new airplay usb(as in OP’s) is smaller and more square.

If you are up for buying a few cables you could retain the USB in that slot and make it charge only using this cable by running it to a power source.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2020-tacoma-media-port-relocation.648547/page-3#post-25897126

Then from the back of the head unit run this cable to the cable you've got routed to the glove box.

I'm a few steps behind you in a similar project. I've got the cables but haven't installed just yet. Plan on doing this, relocating the data to the center console or glove box and leave the port on the dash to just charge. Might even wire up a switch so I can flip between two USB sources if I can get that working which seems possible.

These are for 2020 and up, I can't say that they'll be good for 2019 or older. But you mentioned carplay so I assumed
