After installing my new shocks (billstein 6112@) at 2.5" lift. My sway bar now touches and has bent both inner tie rods. What are my options for ensuring they don't come in contact? Is there a kit or replacement part needed?20210705_114949.jpg 20210705_112156.jpg

    Thanks! -Arthos

On first glance, looks like the driver's side outer tie rod is upside down. Castle nut should be on top.

Secondly, whatever spacer is on the sway bar mounting bracket is pushing the sway bar down into the tie rods

I just installed 6112's on my second gen and had no issues with sway bar contacting the tie rods

Did you switch the sway bar ends links too? They look long to me?

I got 6212’s on mine. No sway bar interference. Do you have the sway bar relocate installed in the correct location?

    Wow good catch!
Any issue with the struts touching the sway bar on your truck after installing the 6112s?

I don't see how I could (then again I apparently installed that tie rod upside down) . Currently its offsetting the sway bar forward toward the front bumper.

I did but they seemed to match up to originals.

Honestly, take it to someone who knows what they are doing. If that sway bar didnt hit the tie rod the end would have eventually come loose. It's a compression fit for a reason.

The sway bar looks like it's too far forward. Are the sway bar mounts using the stock screw holes?

The drivers side tie rod is clearly installed incorrectly. What sway bar relocate bracket did you use?
I had no issues with my sway bar contacting the suspension. New sway bar end links? They look short for some reason.

As mentioned you have 3 separate problems.

    1- links are too long
2 - drivers side OTR is upside down, reducing clearance (not to mention other negative effects)
3- swaybar bracket that’s on the frame is spacing it down too far

To fix all of these I’d suggest to take it to a mechanic that will be able to ensure your trucks safety and others on the road.

Also, after correcting all the issues mentioned above, I suggest you have a professional install new inner and outer tie rods. Don't leave them bent, it reduces their strength and makes it easier for them to fold up putting more stress on other components. Especially in your case after removing the sway bar.
