I have done quick highway manovers with no SB and still felt perfectly in control. The biggest issue is coming to a fast stop in rainy weather the truck walks around more. Having it removed has actually made me drive slower around curvy roads and pay more attention to what the people in front of me are doing.

It seems like I have to compromise either way. Do I want it quick and responsive in the turns at hiway speeds? Hmmm. At its best, It was never that great. And certainly never able to keep up with the beemers.

Now that it is off, I realize how much I was giving up. With it off, there is so much more "harmony" on all 4 corners. On the hiway, when I hit a pothole or road irregularity now the shocks soak up the jolt so much better. At higher speeds this actually makes the truck safer because it doesn't throw it around like it used to.

Off pavement is now smooth, hi or low speed. Definitely worth doing in my opinion.

Probably not a mod for me. I like a stiffer ride with as little body roll as possible and I don't offroad hardcore at all.

    tires are too big lol

And i think the body roll is worth it...but i dont do a lot of highway stuff...i think i might regret it once i hit up the mountain roads lol..but maybe ill just put it on and then take it off when i get there lol

So thinking about doing this (whenever I get truck back) but I'm running ext travel icons with a 1" diff drop, if it gives 1-2" of droop what will that do to my cv's?

Just did mine today and this is a great mod! Still handles well and the bumpy back roads dont seem to beat you to death anymore

Yes stock lower, camburg uca, and the ext icons give 1" additional droop over regular. I ran the 1" diff drop to compensate for it though. I have it set about 2.5". Anyone do this with an extended travel shock such as the icons, or kings etc? I may go for it and see what happens, if I blow a cv I'm gonna cry.

    2 questions:

1.) anyone know the torque specs on the end link bolts?

2.) I noticed 1 side of the end link bolts is a tad longer, I don't remember if the long bolt attaches to the sway bar or the suspension side, anyone know or remember?

I've had mine off for about a year and can't remember. I like having it off but would also like to put it back on and compare a tad more.

    Thanks!
