Which sway bar end links are you guys running with 2" lift? The stock end links are way too short...

I bought some longer ones from NAPA but I think they are too long...

I'll be the first to say; ditch the sway bar.

Can you explain the reasoning behind your statement?

My truck spends 98% of its time on paved roads, unfortunately.

Then my suggestion doesn't really matter here.

I suggested it because our trucks would never drive like a car, so removing the sway bar will only make a minor difference.

Plus you're saving yourself money by not having to look for new extended links or anything

    That and ultimately, more articulation.

How many of you don’t run away bars. I have to change the steering rack bushings this week and debating just not putting the sway bar back

It is done to get more articulation and independent suspension. Good if you need it for off roading. Mine is a daily driver and sometime playtoy. I kept the sway bar.

Had a set of adjustable sway bar disconnects from Downey Offroad for a 91 4-Runner. Those were the bomb. Downey was such a good outfit, miss them.

Great, many fans of sway bar delete, I am sure it's great for a truck which spends most of the time offroad...

What about sway bar end links? Any recommendations??

My trucks are 99.5% on road. Driving up and down mountain passes. I took the sway bar off after installing my lift. Hated the way it drove.

    Put it back on immediately.

And my truck does just fine off road.

Isn't the sway bar there to prevent body roll, how did that help improved ride quality?

I miss my sway bar. Cornering is awful. My truck spends a lot of time off road but I'd still like it to drive okay on pavement.

I'm sure some of the poor pavement handling problems can be corrected with better suspension.

my 620lb coils keep the body roll to a minimum. when you hit a bump with only one tire it can independently move. with a sway bar it will rock the truck side to side. especially going over obstacles at slower speeds

So why'd you lift it then? :boink::D

You don't gain travel, you gain articulation.

Yes, it does help prevent body roll, but it also limits the ability for the shocks to act independently. When one wheel hits a pothole, it doesn't allow the wheel to move appropriately because it's physically connected to the other wheel that's not moving.

With a good set of shocks, the body roll isn't that bad, as long as you drive the thing like a truck, not a sports car. I haven't had a swaybar in years.

That said, it's pretty easy to make your own swaybar connects at any length you want. All you really need is some all-thread and a couple heim joints and some hardware (preferable grade 8). 1/2" should do the trick and be more than strong enough. They only get a little complicated if you want to make them quick disconnects.

I used the truck for work, I put in add a leaf to increase load capacity. Toyota leaf packs are bad for hauling weight and towing. I have owned 2nd gen tundra, 2nd gen taco, and in both I had to put in AAL so the truck doesn't bottom out.
