I have a buddy who needs to replace the sway bar bushings on his 2013. Could these be replaced without jacking up the truck?
The ones in the video are what I am referring to. https://youtu.be/mnr9NLJEotY

question is, does your buddy have a TRD or or not? (TRD OR has smaller diameter swaybar)

Good deal, then a "standard" swaybar bushing kit for the truck will work. Nope you dont have to jack it up to do it, just pull the front skid off to make your life easier.

Look at summit racing, hotchkis, 23391188 for 30mm. From there you can look for the different sizes. Yes they're very expensive but oh so pretty.

Energy suspension has some "universal" ones that fit the 28mm of the TRD OR, and they are greaseable. I believe they even make "direct replacement" ones for the 30mm diameter of the non TRD or swaybar

I just installed the greasable Energy Suspension sway bar bushings on my OR. Fit perfectly (28mm).

Probably it's just going to be more of a pain/harder

    Question
    Why replace them?
Mine don't look obviously fucked up or anything at 140k miles
I doubt OP truck in question does due to it's newer model year
neither does the truck shown in the video
