So I’m looking to get a suspension kit this year soon I’m going toward camburg suspension but I think it’s really only a 2.5 in the front and nothing in the rear but I like the kit bc it’s not a spacer it’s all new coil and shock plus control arm but can’t really make up my mind with all the other companies like fabtech or toylift rough country etc please let me know what y’all think ready to pull the trigger on a new suspension kit

    2.5” coilovers:
King, Fox, & Icon are big 3, with remote resivor and compression adjusters or not

    Ball joint upper control arms:
JBA, Light Racing, Camburg, Icon, maybe Fabtech (stronger than OEM & sealed bearings, BUT no better articulation)

    Uniball upper control arms:
Camburg, Total Chaos, Dirt king, & Icon (1” more droop / articulation over ball joint control arms BUT they are exposed to dirt/salt/water)

But there are more options between a junk spacer lift and a mid travel kit.

    Bilstein 5100
    Bilstein 6112
    Fox 2.0 performance series
    Toytec coilovers

Stay away from Fabtech and Rough Country, stick with Bilstein or OME to keep it cheaper or get King or Fox to get some really nice stuff.

This. I wouldn't go with Camburg branded coilovers since you can get Kings, ADS or Foxes for roughly the same price. Nothing wrong with their a arms.

Keep in mind Icon has the new delta joint for there UCAs, same articulation of uniballs, but low maintenance like ball joints

You'll need to add a three leaf add-a-leaf or a new beefier leaf pack to stay level. The coilovers are adjustable to any height you want up to 2.5"

Well you'll want to upgrade your rear suspension to keep up with improved performance of the front so I assume you would want to do what I mentioned with the rear leafs, however with the adjustable coilovers you could leave the front at stock height until you had funds to lift the rear as well - not just for height's sake, but for better off road performance. Looks like you're going to do it right!

Yeah I’m looking at buying a whole new leaf pack form all pro off-road for the rear mine unfortunately are going out I thinks it’s with 1st gens they got bad leaf springs their starting to bend the opposite way but yeah trying to get ready for some aggressive off-road and mostly trail riding

The FOX coilovers will lift it up to 3" since we use their extended travel versions with our upper arms. It was a typo on our website that I corrected. Out of the box it will be closer to 2.5" lift.

We sell Deaver Springs which offers a complete J-59 leaf spring pack and also their F-85 mini-pack for customers on a budget. They can also custom make leaf springs if you need something specific if you carry a lot of weight, tow, etc. The J-59 is our go to for most customers and they ride and work very well both on and off-road. By this point your stock leaf springs are pretty fatigued and aren't very progressive so they limit both wheel travel and articulation with bottoming out easy. The Deavers will fix that.
