There is nothing wrong with super tech. I run it in all my older vehicles. But to be honest I won’t put it in my Tacoma just because I know mobile 1 is superior. No reason I need to save 15 bucks every couple months. I sleep better at night knowing I’m not running the cheapest oil in my most expensive vehicle lol. Once again.... super tech isn’t garbage...just not something I’d run in a new vehicle.

Used in 5 vehicles with cumulative mileage of 700k and never any issues. 305k first gen, 260k 2nd gen, 35k 3rd gen, and 90k prius. No gunk or sludge.

Lol at his little homemade elastohydrodynamic test machine; no boundary or hydrodynamic testing.

It was just in reference to the potential for this shit show to go off the rails.

As for Supertech? Warren makes good oil...SuperTech, Costco, Meijer and others as well. It's been proven over and over through testing and oil analysis to be a fine product.

3 years ago I replaced the valve cover gaskets on my FIL's '03 Dakota. That vehicle spent the majority of it's life on SuperTech conventional and a Fram orange can. The valve train looked great and there was zero sludge in the top of the heads. The last 2 years he owned it I switched him over to SuperTech High Mileage synthetic. Again....zero problems.

He passed away right after Christmas. I sold the truck to a mechanic who was happy that I had been running SuperTech in it. Said it's his oil of choice.

I've used it (or other Warren oil) on and off in countless vehicles....friends, family, neighbors

But basically all the oils he tested did really well. The difference in performance was often times negligible. And in real life, the differences become nearly unmeasureable. Even Blackstone laboratory said that
