Hey I am looking to get a box that can house 2 10's behind the rear seat in a 2nd gen and I was just wondering what the quality of people's boxes from supercrewsound have been.

There boxes are standard 3/4 mdf boxes. There not the best boxes out there but it's good enough to use. If you want something better than ask Mr. Marv for a better setup. I've bought one from them to install 2 8in kicker L7 and it's not that great, but useable for now. Check out my pix of my install.

x2 they are just run of the mill boxes. kinda pricey for what you get, but not hella expensive.

    Mr. Marv is legit.

i tried working w/ them to get me to cut a 13.5" hole for my TW5 but they were a bunch of dicks about it.

    Lets' see:

    o 5/8" mdf (don't think they're 3/4)
    o thin carpet covering
    o nailgun'd together
o joints, corners and connection plugs are well sealed
o extra depth option is nice, but be aware that they cut a hole in the back and glue up a 1/4" panel in it's place
o price is good for what you get, assuming you don't have the woodwork skills to build your own

Overall I am happy with mine, as all I am looking for is a sufficiently sealed box that looks OK (my subs/amp are not a showpiece for my truck...). You do get what you pay for though, so the box is sufficient to hold a set of 10" sealed subs, but doesn't go any further then sufficient.

MrMarv is a definite step up in quality and strangely enough, also in price.

I've got the single 10" box w/ the extra depth cut. It's not the best box, but my woodworking skills aren't that great. So I purchased this one, and it's a decent quality. It fits in the spot well, doesn't move around or shake loose. Fits a JL Audio W3 with the cut out, and overall it helps the sub pound pretty good. I don't think it's Mr. Marv quality, but the shipping to Canada was the right price, and I didn't pay duties on it, which made a difference too. Overall, I'm happy with mine, and if it dies on me, well, it performed well, and I'll look into a Mr. Marv box.

I have the dual sub box with 2 JL Audio 10's and it sounds amazing. More money does not always mean better. And you never get responses from Mr. Marv

I got one too, supercrewsound box (in for sale section) but I'm not a fan of the extra depth cutout in the back. I would think it would compromise the structural rigidity of the box.

It does sound good so I didn't complain and the price was decent. The box design looks complex and there is no way I would have attempted that to save a few bucks.

Hated mine, construction is fine, and it is 5/8. Not enough air space to get any decent volume out of the box, and I had 1500 rms on it.

All the one's I've gotten have been of great quality. I did ask that they not put the big 2 inch hole for the terminal cups but they did that anyway on my present box. I've ordered 3 from them and all have gotten to my house in good shape and in a decent amount of time. Despite the terminal cups incident I'm still happy with it. They really aren't anything special but I got mine as a gift from my parents so I can't complain. I'm overall happy with them.

Maybe I just got to used to a phat ported box.... The box will enhance sound, but even with sundown sd2 10s on around 750rms each it still left me wanting more. Now my zv3 flexes the flimsy hood, slightly happier.
