I'm want to color match my grille and seeing as how I have a super white truck I figure it should be pretty easy to color match. I was just wondering if someone has found a brand that is pretty damn close to super white. I hear Krylon Fusion is pretty close and I don't want to pay $25 a can with paintscratch.com. I'm looking for a $5 dollar can of paint at Home Depot. Does it exist??

Ever see a paint chip book at a body shop? There are like 55 different shades of white. Spend the money now or you'll spend it later

The only paint that found that was an exact match were the $25 per can paint. Those $5 can are close but to me it was obvious that it wasn't a match...don't go cheap, in the long run it will be better with legit color matched paint...unless you don't mind that it is off a bit.

Good luck... Superwhite is hard to match, especially if you're picky. Krylon Fusion is close but you will definitely be able to tell the difference. I tried those $25/can brands (Paintscratch actually) and it still didn't match well enough for my liking. They even sent me a second batch because the first batch was off. The second batch was a lot better but still yellowed when I applied the clear coat.

Basically, if you go the route of a cheap paint job, that's what you get, something that looks cheap.

Just pick up some white Plasti Dip, see how you like it, if you don't like it you can remove it.

I had mine done at a local bodyshop for around $200. Has been great. Did it about 3 years ago now, still looks perfect other than a few dang rock chips.
