Hi I have a question, on my 2010 Access Cab Tacoma the sun visor does not slide to the full extend of the side window. I have Long Legs and sit back almost as far as the seat slides fully back. the Sun often comes in at the far end of the side window. Does anyone know where I can get a visor that fits the 2010 and slides? Thanks.

Welcome aboard. I think Ray Ban or Oakley have what you need.

I went to the local savage yard and went through 50 model of cars and truck. Found Visors from a Mercedes. I had to put my ends on it and use a little duct tape to make it fit the clip. But now I can cover the whole side window and keep the sun out of my eyes. Also looks like it came in the truck from the factory with them.

I don't know about your 2010 but I have a 2002 Tacoma and I found an '04 Corolla with very similar sun visors to mine and they fit very well. I'm still gonna have to go back to the wrecking yard to get the hooks for them because they don't fit the hooks in the Tacoma very well, I wish I would've thought to go ahead and get them. At least the damn thing stays up when I'm driving! Lol!

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for sharing, but I did find the ones out of a Mercedes. Same thing with the clips I just used a one wrap of gray duct tape and its the same color as my interior so all is good. Thanks again.

No problem randywave1 glad to help. Hell I may end up using the duct tape trick myself if I can't find those clips out there. Damn I wish I would've thought to get those things while I was there!

12TRDTacoma, if you're just having trouble getting your visor to stay up, try looking at the 4runner and see if the visors are the same or similar to your Tacoma. I think some of them may be interchangeable with the Tacoma but I'm not positive. Also maybe a Corolla that's around the same year model as your truck. You can just check around your local wrecking yard and see what you can find that's what I did. I know the ones from a Camry won't work at least not in a 1st gen. like mine, 2nd gen. may be different I don't know.

For others looking for something similar, the 88-98 Chevy and GM trucks had extension slides on the visors. First car was a 92 suburban and the visors could slide and almost meet behind the mirror.

Would like to add I think the 4runner has the extension slide but I'm not positive. Not sure the visors will fit in the Taco, but it's worth checking out!

My '06 Taco Off-Road came with factory visor sliders that cover the entire top of the side window. Possible interchange?

I saw a driver side sun visor on Amazon for a 4runner for over $70, one reviewer said it fit his '06 Tacoma. It might fit a 2010, who knows! It had the sliding extension as well! I didn't buy it because I didn't want to spend that kind of $$$ not knowing for sure it would fit my '02 Taco! I wasn't necessarily looking for one with the sliding extension I just needed to replace mine as it was worn out and wouldn't stay up! That's why I got 1 out of a Corolla at the wrecking yard.
