Bought 4 from SimpleTire $571 plus $80 at NTB to install them.

Had Michelin Defender LTX M/S on there but two were overdue for replacement. They really are the best tires one can buy (for me).

Wanted BFGs but that price - not ready for that and as a 2wd not sure if it is worth the money (for me).

Now, I’m cooler, taller and have a little swag when I hit the trails…when I came home from NTB my wife said I even looked more manly and had a deeper voice - hahaha!

First thoughts - they look great! They are just a tad noisier than the Michelins but to be expected -they are some grippy jokers…the car wash roller kept trying to push it up out of track - never had that happen before. When I hit the turn in for my driveway I heard a slight rub noise (think it was the mud flap and not sure why)…will try to duplicate that…could be nothing (should be as they are the same size).

I checked mileage on the Michelins - 21.6 the day before I put these Sumitomo’s on.

filled up tonight - 21.45 with the Sumitomo’s - that’s negligible - @3.6 miles per tank lost to have a tire with some better grab, bigger lugs and hopefully a little more strength although I’d buy Michelin Defenders without batting an eye (except for the price).
