Do you have a picture of the inside of the cupholder where you drill the hole and how many LEDs you used?

 

Can't use it because it's round. Everyone loves the character of first gen Tacoma square cup holders, it would ruin the theme.

Sound deadening goes an awful long way both in making the A/c and heat more effective, and absorbing NVH from the body. If you do it above the head liner it also makes rain much quieter. I personally did two layers of dynamat superlite in the door panels only and that made a huge difference but if you commit to taking the seats and carpet out and doing everything I'm sure you would get great returns in comfort. Also, sound deadening the back of all the plastic panels gets rid of most rattling and makes the vehicle feel a little more robust inside. Tap the dash and it doesn't sound like a tupperware anymore, that sort of idea. As others have mentioned upgrading the seats can potentially go a long way, though I went with reclining suspension bucket seats, specifically corbeau baja xrs if you're looking

I have a 1997 and it came with a stock intermittent setup, so just find one for your year.

 

For the economy version of sound deadening, Frost King from Home Depot or Lowes. Sticky foam lined aluminum. I did doors, floors, and roof. Made a big difference. Also protects you from the aliens!!

i added a back support, and butt support bought both pieces at wallmart, very comfy, phome holder, bluetooth speaker, wimdow tint, rear view camera, added center comsole i habe bucket seats

 

Oh yeah that's a great point, if you can get 'clear' uv protectant windshield tint it's the truth. Cools down the interior a lot in the summer and still legal. Downside is my buddy did it to his acura tl and just the windshield ran him a couple hundred bucks

for the life of me, I cannot understand why Toyota didn't add intermittent wipers as standard equipment on the base model Taco's. This has driven me nuts over the years. Any additional info on the mod? Thanks.
