Looking at rough country's 3" lift for my truck. They have a kit for $279 that comes with strut spacers. I can upgrade the spacers and get new struts but the price goes up to $499. I won't be doing much off roading, wondering what the pros and cons are other than the price. Thanks for any input

    A handshake still means something.

cliff notes, spacers are trash, if your on a budget get adjustable bilstiens. if your not on a budget get a real coil over, king, fox, radflo ect, and if money is no object go LT or SAS.

Would anyone have a link to a bilstien lift that's on the budget friendly side, I've tried searching for one.

Either of these with a rear block is probably about as budget-friendly as you can get.

This kit includes new front springs and a couple of options for rear::

This is just shocks (reuse OEM front springs and need to find rear lift to match front):

I like the 2nd option, front struts and rear shocks. Reuse factory coil springs. But like you said I would need to find something to lift the rear. The front adjustable struts go up to 2.5" so what size blocks would i need for the rear to level the truck? 1.5"?

And those 16" wheels that are on your truck, also looking for a set of those! I think they look good on the 2nd gens

The first option is really the better choice. Lift the truck with coils not struts. For the rear you can lift the truck with an add a leaf or “AAL”.

you could do 5100s with oem coils and a block in rear and be fine. you don't really need rear shocks its not going to effect anything.
