Stripes!

I have loved the Ivan Stewart livery since I was a kid, and the notion of a subtle tribute keeps popping in my head.

I saw one of these today driving to work and now it’s sort of consuming me.



Has anyone done this? Does it look goofy on a third gen? I found one of these online. I guess I could always take it off if I don’t like it.

I like the smaller one too. Just don’t know if I can do orange and yellow on my silver truck. Looks fantastic on black or white.

 

Yeah I just realized I've only ever seen it on white trucks lol. Best to try it and find out

 

So, I ordered a set today. Mat black, grey, and gloss red I’m thinking about just doing the drivers side so it’s asymmetric. Comes with two, so I can experiment with it.

I just got a set of the grey scheme. Gonna probably put them on this weekend.

There are a few people that have done it. It actually lookds really good, especially if you go for the "retro" look. here a couple I pulled off Google. Etsy has some you can purchase in different styles/colors. A few of the members here have done it, so maybe they'll chime in with some insight

 

company called Jupiter on Earth. Ordered them and got a shipping notice two hours later! You can choose the colors you want. They have a bunch of Toyota stickers.

I may have to look at these. I really want to do some sort of tribute stickers on my naked inferno. Not sure which scheme will look good though.
