I looking for ideas on what's causing the issue with my MESO Stage 1 Total Tail Light kit in my 2020 Pro. I've installed it 3 times now with the same results. The installation is easy - takes minutes to pop out the old bulbs, replace them, add in the new harness and connect it to the old one.

Here's my problem: Once installed when I activate the right turn signal, everything works fine. When I activate the left, the left turn signal lights amber...and I get a low grade white flash from the right signal.

I've swapped sides, I've added the resistors, MESO sent me both a replacement harness and a new bulb. Nothing works.

I'm running Raptor lights that are powered through my right front headlight. Hadn't thought of that so as an issue so I'll pull the power and give it a shot - have to reinstall the kit first. The only other thing I can think of is that there is something in the original wiring of my truck that is causing it. But I know other people with 2020s have put the kit in their cars without issues.

    Any ideas? TIA!!

It almost seems like either a bad connection (plug/connector), or bad ground. To me it looks like the driver's side turn signal circuit is closing itself via pass side bulb, instead of actual grounding. Now, I'm not sure where to start with finding your issue. Sorry
In older vehicle I'd say to run a new ground wire, but since you have a 2020, I'm not sure if that would lead to more issues.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge will come along and chime in:fingerscrossed:

If all works as it should without the added gadget, why would you think it's the vehicle with an issue?o_O

I’m with you. If OPs lights all work correctly without the Meso product installed. The issue is with the product not his truck.

First, because it works on other 2020s without an issue. Second, I've replaced every piece of the MESO kit with replacements he sent and the issue is always on the right side even if I swap components.

The kit changes the lighting pattern and, possibly, something in the OEM harness may just be different/off to cause the problem in the new lighting pattern, not the original. Admittedly, that's a reach but since I've replaced every component in the system - multiple times if you count swapping sides.

I appreciate people weighing in. This one has Stew (MESO) baffled.

Stew (MESO)made some adjustments to another harness and is mailing it for me to try. We'll see.

Problem solved! Stew worked some electrical Voo Doo - something about adding a diode to the t-harnesses. I installed the kit today using the new harnesses and the lights work perfectly!!!
