This wheel has the exact same dimensions as the wheel with the blue and red stripes, except without the stripes. 4" backspacing, 0 offset, 3.3" center bore, 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern.

CAN ANYONE CONFIRM IS THIS RIM FITS OUR 2nd GEN TRUCKS WITH NO MODS?? I know that they fit th 1st gen trucks no problems/mods. don't care too much about TPMS. Just want to be sure that these rims can clear our brake calipers. THANKS IN ADVANCE

I have a 2008 Tacome 5 lug Access Cab. I bought 4WP Pro comp 7069 15X8 3.75" Backspacing with falken wild peak 31 X 10.5. The wheels DO NOT fit without modification. I had to grind the caliper. I also did the black box mod. The tires do not rub, even at full lock. However, they do rub if I hit a curb or speed bump, or have a total of 3 people in the car. But normal day to day driving, they do not rub.

I just wanted to say "Thanks", this forum has helped me so much. We got our son a 2012 5 lug double cab sr5 for his sixteenth birthday. The wheels and tires needed help.
I tried to go the quick route and get a set of 5 lug wheels of off the facebook market place, they didn't work. This forum saved me.

Cragar 15x7 and 235/75/15 BF Goodrich rugged terrain.

LOL, I did the exact same for my 16 year old almost 3 years ago. We also did the Fat Bob's lift kit, but you're right, the original wheels left a bit to be desired in the looks department.

The stock black rims from a Dodge Avenger fit perfectly if you want to go up to a 17" and are looking to keep the stock height or go lower. 17x6.5 +40 and the center bore is a exact fit.

    Thank you for this thread.
I am going to do the same as yall in this thread.
    • Cragar 342 Series Steel Wheel Size: 15" x 7"(Part Number: 260-342-5712)
    • 235/75r15 wrangler
    • Black Box mod (maybe)
    • Hub rings
On stock everything else. Has anyone figured out what TPMS sensors will work since stock does not? Also anyone have any rubbing issues with the bed fully loaded down?

Has anyone discovered any other black rims that will fit w/o spacer or caliper grinding?

Really trying to get a bullet hole style rim as opposed to the D-windows, but can't really find anyone on the 5 lug forum who has been able to do it without some form of mods.
Not sure if anyone has confirmed if the cragar 'soft 8' fit ?... Honestly i'm kind of wanting an alloy rim to save some weight since the 4-banger seriously feels underpowered to me.

    https://www.americanracing.com/product/wheels/ar172-baja/
The website filters that the 15x8 +20 offset (5.29 backspace) fits.

Offset and tire clearance wise, I feel that it would fit and be fairly flush with the fender provided the rim clears the caliper?
An old post of Rota grid offroad 16x8 +20 offset w/ 235/70/r16 should really be simliar to that of a 15x8 +20offset w/ 235/75/r15 if I'm looking at things correctly?

Since I have never test fitted any rim I don't have any experience in how/where the rim interferes with the caliper..
I have seen previous posts of the American Racing Baja AR172 in 15x7 -6 offset not really fitting without spacer--- Does that mean the 15x8 +20 offset version won't fit since it will likely have the same inner geoemtry/dimensions?

Sidenote: Kind of crazy that I made this account in 2008 but just got my first tacoma last week.. wowzers.
