Highly recommend the Plano trunk as a way to add more storage. I leave mine in the front of the bed under the tonneau cover (but secure with wire and padlock for extra security and peace of mind) and fill with essential gear like booster cables, water, gloves, blanket, flares, axe, shovel, garage bags, etc. The trunk is stackable and waterproof, and doubles as a seat when camping.

I found one of these same trunks on the highway about 10 years ago. It fell out of someone's work truck. Was loaded with hard hats and safety vests.

Thing survived skipping across the road at 65mph with just a few scratches. Been using it to haul my dj gear for a number of years now. Only issue it's ever had is the hinge likes to come apart on one side.

Bass Pro had these on for $25. Reg price $49.
I picked a few. There a little flimsy but they'll work great for sto n go gear.

Yep, also available at Academy... I got them when they were on sale for $15/ea. It's great that they have wheels on one end for dragging around. I keep one in the bed for transporting things I don't want getting wet. Yes, I have a tonneau, but it's not infallible. Sometimes you just don't want things rolling around.

    EDIT: LINK
In store, I regularly see these in all sorts of colors... black, green, grey, red, yellow, pink, purple, blue, etc.
