With my Taco V-6 4wd approaching 200K, I am planning to replace the OEM springs and install another set of Billy 5100s while I am it. I am thinking of purchasing a set of Moog 81004 constant rate springs @ Rock. Looks like the OEM springs are 5x more spendy

I have no experience with Moog coils so I was wondering if I could hear from those who do? Don't want to install cheap stuff either.

    Thanks

I've heard the Moog coils sag easily.

Just get some OME 880's (or another set depending on what junk you have bolted to your bumper)

I know a lot of people on here don't like Moog coils. I put a set on my 2002 Tacoma and paired them with the Bilstein HD shocks and I didn't have any problem or sag with them. My issue was the same as yours, they are inexpensive and get the job done.

Thanks you guys rock. I looked at the Old Man Emu 2880 Front Coil Spring Set & Toytec OME 880 & 881 sets of springs but both are designed to lift the front end by 1.5 to 2.5" over stock. I am looking to maintain the stock Toyota spring height which I believe is 350mm (TRD Off Road). Any other manufacturers make good OEM replacement springs for stock guys like my self.

Thinking ahead last time I replaced the shocks I had to bring the coil spring assemblies to a Firestone to have them remove and replace the shocks. As you know the stock coil springs are spaced tightly so all the rental spring compressors didn't work. Looked up the Toyota SST 09727-30021. Anyone know if these SSTs be rented anywhere?

    TIA
