Hey, I haven't seen much on here about the HEIGH10 system but there was a pretty seamless integration recently released- https://stingerelectronics.com/products/sr-tac16h

Anyone have any experience with this? I was in the market for a new headunit and was going with a pioneer before I found this one. Seems to cost a little bit more, but the new mount + features from what im seeing look pretty nice. Any reason to choose the pioneer over this?

    That seems very nice !
The price is very good for what you get.
I would definitely look into this if you are in the market for a radio change and it looks nice and clean

The 429 is just the installation kit. The head unit is another 1299.

Has anyone tried it, I am interested because of the 4 camera I out and wonder if it would be able to add any of the crawl features that are in the 2020+ trd pros?

I just bought it. Should ship by the end of the week or early next week. I'll let you know my first impressions when I get it installed. The price tag is really high but for how good it looks and the features, I think the guilt will wear off quickly.

I just installed mine last night. A lot of wires to connect. But I finished it with hardly any prior electronic knowledge. It was honestly easier than I thought it would be. So far loving it.

I have put in Racesport gen3 leds I'm the process of doing a custom audio overhaul which will include Hybrid audio unity 6x9 mid bass, unity 3 inch mid driver in the dash and fiberglassing tweets in pilar soundeading all the doors, floors, and headliner and I will be using a helix processor to retain the factory radio and as far as subs I might make custom brackets to move rear seat foward a few inches to get a full size sub in there or I might just go with a pair of jl tw5 or tw3 and it will all be powered by jl audio HD amps or I might try out the new hybrid amps
I sell them both and there both great if you want a big screen go with the stinger only down side is you don’t get to keep some oem features because it is not I datalink compatible however I talk to tech support and they say there working on future updates and they may include making those features available. Other then that wired carplay/android auto that’s the only two negatives big upsides to me are camera inputs, built it gps, and most importantly for me it has toslink out which is going into my dsp I love it and I would not switch it to a pioneer. The pioneer is idatalink compatable so you keep all oem features, wireless carplay/android auto so it’s more Convenient

Please, do a post with your first impressions. I would also like to hear what you think after some good use. It is spendy for sure but I really think it's the best looking HU I've seen yet for our trucks. The kit isn't cheap but it really makes it look factory from their pics, a really solid looking integration imo. Toslink optical could be a big bonus for some. Although I've heard something about it defaults to the Android dac which isn't ideal? I sometimes wonder how relevant some of this is especially with my piss poor hearing!
Anyway, I would be greatful to hear your thoughts! Cheers

Hi everyone, thank you for posting all the first impressions and info on it. Did anyone try crawl control with it yet, based on some of the posts I’m assuming you don’t get the views that the 2020+ models get then. Can anyone post what the actual 4 camera input looks like? Or how that feature works with this deck?

I’m glad this new Stinger unit is getting some traction on here. Hope we can get an install thread going and more member reviews.

Well, I installed it and it looks great but android auto isn't working. I've tried every possible troubleshoot with no luck. Even went to my other truck to see if it might have been the most recent Android auto update that's causing the issue but it wasn't because it worked fine in it. Shows connected on my phony but not on the headunit. It doesn't even allow me to set it up. It pops up for a split second then goes to the main menu. Are you experiencing this by chance?

I'm using CarPlay and it's working as advertised. Don't currently have a way to test android.

Customer service has been great. They sent out a new cable for the USB and it's now working. But now the mic doesn't work so they went out another mic and cable. Hoping to have everything working properly soon. Btw, do any of you have burn in on the screen? I've got some on the bottom near the buttons. I think I got an abused unit

This is a pretty great looking unit. I am on the fence about getting it. I cant fit the High10 and the SR-TAC16H kit sold together in stock any place currently though. The best I see is getting the High10 at Amazon and the install kit separately from a few online shops I see it in stock. If anyone has the pair sold together for the $1500 it goes for other place please hit me up!

Since I have seen so few posts about this Stinger HEIGH10 unit on here I will be posting my install when I get it later this week. Its due here on friday. I plan to take the day off and get it all setup. I also got the SAT radio module so i can review that process as well.

The big unanswered question that I have yet to see is the one above about cameras and crawl control views
