Agreed. He's basically batman at this point. I just hope (and I do believe he is) that he's on the side of his customers and company he's trying to turn around.

 

I never said the GME board would be happy about it. They would be forced to do it. It is the easiest way out of this whole mess though. If you let supply and demand run it's course you will literally crash everything. Not just the US markets. Every major market will take the hit. Something will be done to prevent that. Share delusion via dark pools then jail time for a few guys that created the mess is what most likely happens. I said the same thing in January. Sure, Wall St and the US get a little egg on their face. That egg washes off in a month or two.

 

fuck 'em. Maybe the system is due for a rebuild. Maybe we don't need hedge funds naked selling and pulling billions of dollars out of retail investors by front loading their trades via payment for order flow. Maybe we don't need naked short shares for "liquidity". Maybe we'd just be better off with a fair and open market where the penalties aren't a million bucks off of a hundred billion dollar profit.

Corruption and greed has risen to the top, and it's been there for a while. I say burn it all down and rebuild it with some common sense regulations.

That's a good question. It's mainly for the makers and primes so I would think if regulated correctly it would indeed have value. The thing is, nothing is being regulated correctly when you have this many stocks suffering from naked shorting.
