I got an alignment on my Tacoma and it looks pretty good but now the steering wheel is off center a little bit. Its not that noticeable but it bothers me. So what happens is if I center the wheel perfectly the truck drifts to the drivers side (left). I tested this on multiple highways in the center lane, I drive 40min+ to work.

What do you think I should do?:
    1. Repress my obvious OCD and forget about it.
    2. Take it back to the shop and ask them to fix it.
    3. Adjust the toe by lengthening the driver side steering linkage by half a turn, then shortening the passenger side linkage by half a turn. I believe that will change the steering while maintaining toe.

    Thanks

Sorry, the "Suspension" sub-forum may be a better place for this thread. I'm not sure how to move it.

Op has your rack & pinion bushings ever been replaced? I replaced mine with poly bushings because the oem rubber bushing got worn out which will cause slight side to side movement in the rack which will effect the results of a alignment. When I was adjusting the toe I was just chasing the play from one side to the other.

Nope still the OEM ones. Its a 2010 and currently has 79,000 miles on it, runs great. But I will keep that in mind if I can not get it centered.

Yea I got it scheduled to go back this Friday.
