Steering Knuckle: ABS vs. Non-ABS & Spacer Needed?

Hey everyone, I’ve searched the forum and cannot mmmm find the specific info I need so I’m hoping someone me.

I need to replace my driver’s steering knuckle and all of the stuff that typically goes along with doing that. Bearing, seal, UBJ, LBJ, etc, etc. My truck is a non-ABS truck so I’m going with the ABS knuckle and I’ll just get the spacer I need to fill the gap where the ABS ring would go. I’ve found plenty of places to get the spacer but it looks like they offer several different sizes….1”, 1.5”, 2”. How do I know which one I need?

I’m doing that now. You need a spacer for what part. I was told it’s an exact fit just leave the abs plug on and cut the wire to plug the hole.

 

There’s a ring that’s part of the ABS system that our non abs trucks don’t have. We need the spacer to fill the gap that is where that ring would be. I’ll see if I can find the exploded view and post it for you to see what I’m referring to. Unless anyone else can help with a better explanation and/or pics.
