Interesting way to run a business....

The only difference I can pinpoint is the bevel is on the opposite side of the tooth. It'll be back together tonight, crossing my fingers it never happens again.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

It wasn't only that. While building my rear axle I had some questions I needed to clarify with him because I was using his D rotors to convert to disc breaks in the back. I just wanted to have a full understanding before I ordered them. And I also needed order axle flanges that didn't have the ears on them for calipers (because the Drotors already have the ears for the calipers, and he doesn't have the flanges listed without ears).

Anyway... I had to go back and forth with him for 2 or 3 weeks because he would answer part of the questions and not all of them, then I had to wait for him to tell me how to order the flanges/drotors, so I didn't get the flanges with ears on them.

Not sure if any of the above makes sense. But it was kind of a pain in the ass. I'm just glad if I need to build another axle now, I've done it. I know what I need, and where to get it lol. (The Drotors did end up being worth the wait though. I think they are a really good piece of kit.)

Truck is starting every time so far with the Luk flywheel. :bananadance::fingerscrossed:

Now working on new leafs, and finally welding up these hanger skids I've had for years. May ve should've done it sooner as the driver side is mangled.

Was wondering when you were going to throw those on. I never found my front spring hangers to be too much of hang up point so didn't think they were necessary for me

I definitely got very stuck on the driver-side one at some point.

Also the #1 reason I didn't swap to Chevy 63s. Watching how often @Wishbone Runner gets stuck on his lower link mounts tells me everything I needed to know about moving the front hanger forward.

I've worked really hard at maximizing clearance, which gets me the same benefit.

Not going to mess it up now by welding shit to the bottom of the frame.

The only way to do the 63's imo is to french in the front hanger, but you're still moving it forward so I get the hesitation there.
